Tim Levene of Augmentum Capital, a fund backed by Lord Rothschild’s RIT Capital Partners, said the investment was not a bet on the gold price but on “the future growth of the BullionVault platform”, which stores physical gold for private clients in London, New York and Zurich. RIT currently has 9pc of its assets in physical gold.
Investment demand for the metal has risen on concerns that sovereign debt problems could spread and the value of currencies plunge. The gold price hit a new nominal all-time high above $1,260 on Friday and analysts expect the price will continue to rise.'

Darwin was most probably right in his evolutional theory and the creation of mankind. We are biological animals and the evolutional process is clear to see. This however does not prove or explain away GOD, or the possibility or indeed the over whelming probability that consciousness/sole exists.
Humans are different distinct from the rest of the animal kingdom here is where Darwin stops and can offer no further insights and Religion/philosophy picks up and attempts to explain or search for our meaning. The sole could have existed before humans and our biological evolution and we will continue to exist in an ever expanding push through this dimension. We are not our thoughts, ideas, or experiences. Our bodies are just biological computers that last for 70 or 80 years, some time less. We are much older than that. Heaven is real, just not forever and it’s a choice. One state does not discount many others. I look at it as the afterlife of heaven in the Biblical and other books sense could be an invitation to hang out with God. The alternative doses not neccerialy mean an absence of God but rather a multitude of dimensions. All have the opportunity to contact the source or God and exist in other forms. If one wants to use logic if indeed Logic can be applied then God has to be bigger and exponentially more complex than simple duality’s. One Heaven or One Hell.

So Christianity, Islam, Buddhism and others are just as correct as any other idea that talks of continuation after death. A just different translation FROM the same, Source, sometimes a little gets lost in translation. Of course we also have to factor in mans attempt to corrupt, impose and mislead.
I make no claim this is fact, or channeled from any higher source or dimension, but an idea that popped into my head last night that I felt compelled to Hurley write down before I forgot. This perhaps will explain why it may not make any sense. But it does to me. : )

California farmers may be the big beneficiaries of a U.S. ban on Iranian pistachios that began Wednesday.
President Barack Obama signed the ban on July 1 in response to Iran's nuclear policies. It went into effect as California's farmers were in the midst of their harvest.
The United States and Iran have been vying for the title of No. 1 pistachio producer. California, which grows more than 95 percent of U.S. pistachios, has doubled acreage devoted to the nut in the past decade. Bad weather in Iran also has helped put the U.S. in the top spot in the past couple of years, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Nationwide, $55 million was awarded to states, with California receiving the largest share.

California cotton is making a comeback.
This year, acreage for the state's two primary varieties -- upland and the longer fiber pima -- grew by 76% and 59% respectively after decades of decline.
Growing worldwide demand, weak prices for competing crops and an ailing dairy economy helped push growers back into cotton, an agricultural mainstay for San Joaquin Valley farmers.
■USDA numbers show Idaho had record potato crop
New figures from the U.S. Department of Agriculture show the value of Idaho's potato crop reached a record $855 million last year.
That's an increase of nearly $22 million from 2008, according to the report the USDA released Thursday.
Idaho Potato Commission President Frank Muir told the Idaho State Journal that the record value shows that 2009 had a positive ending for growers, despite challenges caused by price slumps and high yields.
The U.S. has shut its doors to Iranian pistachios, much to the delight of California nut growers.
The embargo takes effect Sept. 29 and blocks Iran from shipping any pistachios to the United States.
Iran had been importing an average of 262,000 pounds of pistachios into the U.S. since 2000. And in the past 12 months, as many as 1 million pounds were imported.
The pistachio ban was part of a package of sanctions issued by the U.S. against Iran over its nuclear program. The legislation was signed by President Barack Obama on July 1.
Richard Matoian, executive director of the Fresno-based Western Pistachio Association, welcomed the embargo.
Over the past two decades, U.S. pistachio growers -- a majority who farm in the San Joaquin Valley -- have chipped away at Iran's dominance in the foreign and domestic marketplace.
In the mid-1980s, Iran's total U.S. imports rivaled that of the entire U.S. crop of 27 million pounds.
But growing interest in the nut by California farmers, coupled with well-funded marketing campaigns, boosted the nut's popularity.
By 2008, U.S. pistachio growers produced a 278 million pound crop, overtaking Iran as the world's largest grower.
These days, about 75% of the U.S. pistachio crop is exported, and the remainder was sold domestically.
Matoian said this isn't the first time the U.S. has blocked Iranian pistachios. When the U.S. Embassy employees were taken hostage in Iran in 1979, President Jimmy Carter imposed an embargo on Iranian products, including pistachios.
The embargo was lifted in 1981 but others would follow, including from 1987 to 2000 during the Iraq-Iranian war.
In March 2000, the Clinton administration lifted the ban, believing progress was being made in Iran.
Kern County pistachio grower Brian Blackwell said the lack of competitors will help California pistachio farmers.
"This is a benefit to us, but a lot still depends on what demand is and what supply will be," Blackwell said.
This year's crop is estimated at 360 million pounds, a large portion of which is destined for overseas markets in Europe and China.

"Zionists are the biggest shareholders in the soft drinks industry, and each year they make billions of dollars for their colonialist aims," consumers with a thirst for fizz have been told.
Coca-Cola is also not left unscathed by the new twist to the cola wars.
"This firm openly supports Israel and has even said that it is ready to allocate great deal of money to topple the Islamic republic," state television said.
Both Pepsi and Coca-Cola have factories in Iran, although state television gave no indication over whether their operations would be affected.
A popular British high-street retailer, as well as a number of multinational firms, were also singled out for their links to the alleged international Jewish conspiracy to control the world.
"Marks and Spencer has very close relations with the Israeli regime and one its primary aims is to help the development of the Israeli economy," the infomercial claimed.
"Nestle is a Swiss food processing firm which in 2000 announced that it will invest millions of dollars in Israel to build a factory there," it added, while neglecting to mention that Nestle also has a factory in Iran.
The world's largest chip maker Intel was also branded as "one of Israel's biggest supporters".
"Its first overseas branch was set up in Haifa in 1974. In 2000 it employed more that 4,000 Israelis. Its top managers have said that they are going to invest 6.5 billion dollars in Israel," would-be Intel customers have been told.
"McDonalds, Timberland, Revlon, Garnier, Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and L'Oreal are only some of the firms which belong to the Zionist regime," state television said, before taking a swipe at what it said were less vigilant Arab nations.
"Unfortunately most of the streets of Arab nations are filled with commercials which advertise Israeli products. For each purchase, the money is converted into bullets piercing the chests of the Lebanese and Palestinian kids," it fumed.
Iran's hardline Islamic leadership fiercely objects to the very existence of Israel, with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad calling for the Jewish state to be "wiped off the map" or moved elsewhere on the planet.
The head of Iran's parliament, Gholam Ali Hadad-Adel, on Tuesday also branded Israel a "filthy tumor in the body of the Islamic world".
Tehran has also been accused of providing financial and military support to its fellow Shiites in Lebanon's Hezbollah as well as the Palestinian militant group Hamas.
But the regime continues to insists that it only gives "moral" support, and has in recent days decorated Tehran's streets with huge posters of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
"The Islamic republic of Iran has never interfered in Syrian and Lebanese internal affairs. Our support is only moral," foreign ministry spokesman Hamid Reza Asefi repeated to the ISNA news agency Wednesday.
State television meanwhile announced Iran's Red Crescent was sending its first consignment of humanitarian aid to Lebanon -- a 60-tonne consignment of rice, sugar, beans, date, tents and sleeping bags.

A popular British high-street retailer, as well as a number of multinational firms, were also singled out for their links to the alleged international Jewish conspiracy to control the world.
"Marks and Spencer has very close relations with the Israeli regime and one its primary aims is to help the development of the Israeli economy," the infomercial claimed.
"Nestle is a Swiss food processing firm which in 2000 announced that it will invest millions of dollars in Israel to build a factory there," it added, while neglecting to mention that Nestle also has a factory in Iran.
The world's largest chip maker Intel was also branded as "one of Israel's biggest supporters".
"Its first overseas branch was set up in Haifa in 1974. In 2000 it employed more that 4,000 Israelis. Its top managers have said that they are going to invest 6.5 billion dollars in Israel," would-be Intel customers have been told.
"McDonalds, Timberland, Revlon, Garnier, Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and L'Oreal are only some of the firms which belong to the Zionist regime," state television said, before taking a swipe at what it said were less vigilant Arab nations.

Tehran has also been accused of providing financial and military support to its fellow Shiites in Lebanon's Hezbollah as well as the Palestinian militant group Hamas.
But the regime continues to insists that it only gives "moral" support, and has in recent days decorated Tehran's streets with huge posters of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
"The Islamic republic of Iran has never interfered in Syrian and Lebanese internal affairs. Our support is only moral," foreign ministry spokesman Hamid Reza Asefi repeated to the ISNA news agency Wednesday.
State television meanwhile announced Iran's Red Crescent was sending its first consignment of humanitarian aid to Lebanon -- a 60-tonne consignment of rice, sugar, beans, date, tents and sleeping bags.

Tens of thousands of demonstrators marched through the streets of Brussels toward European Union buildings in bright red, green and blue labor union jackets, aiming to reinforce the impact of Spain's first nationwide strike in eight years.
Strikes or protests were also taking place Wednesday in Greece, Portugal, Ireland, Slovenia and Lithuania, all aimed at the budget-slashing, tax-hiking, pension-cutting austerity plans that European governments have implemented to try to control their debt.
The march in Brussels was taking place just as the EU Commission proposed new penalties to punish member states that have run up deficits, mainly to fund social programs in a time of high unemployment. The proposal, backed by Germany, is running into strong opposition from France, which wants politicians to decide on sanctions, not rigid rules alone.
"It is a bizarre time for the European Commission to be proposing a regime of punishment," John Monks, general secretary of the European Trade Union Confederation, told Associated Press Television News. "How is that going to make the situation better? It is going to make it worse."
Unions fear that workers will become the biggest victims of an economic crisis set off by bankers and traders, many of whom were rescued by massive government intervention.
"It is not right that people on low salaries have to pay to prop up the country. It should be the banks," said Belgian demonstrator Evelain Foncis.
Several governments, already living dangerously with high debt, were pushed to the brink of financial collapse and have been forced to impose punishing cuts in wages, pensions and employment — measures that have brought workers out by the tens of thousands over the past months.
"There is a great danger that the workers are going to be paying the price for the reckless speculation that took place in financial markets," Monks said. "You really got to reschedule these debts so that they are not a huge burden on the next few years and cause Europe to plunge down into recession."
In Spain, Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero's Socialist government is under severe pressure because of unpopular measures put in place to save Europe's fourth-largest economy from a bailout like one that saved Greece from bankruptcy.

Greece has already been suffering from two weeks of protests by truck drivers who have made it difficult for businesses to get supplies. Many supermarkets are seeing shortages, while producers complaining they are unable to export their goods.
Greece's government has imposed stringent austerity measures, including cutting civil servants' salaries, trimming pensions and hiking consumer and income taxes. Several other EU nations are also planning actions.
In Dublin, a man blocked the gates of the Irish parliament with a cement truck to protest the country's expensive bank bailout. Written across the truck's barrel in red letters were the words: "Toxic Bank" Anglo and "All politicians should be sacked."
Police arrested a 41-year-old man but gave few other details.
The Anglo Irish Bank, which was nationalized last year to save it from collapse, owes some euro72 billion ($97 billion) to depositors worldwide, leaving Irish taxpayers with a mammoth bill at a time when people are suffering through high unemployment, tax hikes and heavy budget cuts.
Also Wednesday, some 400 protesters rallied in an illegal demonstration in Vilnius to demand authorities in Lithuania cease harsh austerity measures such as salary cuts.
"All of working Europe is on the streets today to express dismay over nearsighted income-cutting politics," said Vytautas Jusys, a 40-year-old engineer who lost his job this year.
In Slovenia, thousands of public service workers continued their open-ended strike on Wednesday to protest the government's plan to freeze their salaries for two years — or until economy grows again at a rate of 3 percent.
Unions in Portugal expect some 30,000 people to show up for demonstrations.

Man attacks Elmo

Police in Winter Park said a man dressed as Elmo was attacked at a local music store on Saturday afternoon by a man who believed the Sesame Street character was a threat to him.
According to Winter Park police Lt. Wayne Farrell, the man had been hired to wear the Elmo suit for an event at Winter Park Village, and was on his break when the attack occurred at the Guitar Center on Orlando Avenue at about 3 p.m.
"He just wandered into the Guitar Center to look at instruments," Farrell said. That's when police say a man, who they said felt "threatened" by the Sesame Street star, attacked.
Farrell said the attack was "unprovoked."

"He immediately thought (the man dressed as Elmo) was a threat," Farrell said. Farrell called the ensuing struggle a "very physical fight," with multiple punches thrown.
"Elmo got the best of the guy," Farrell said. "He broke two of his fingers."
Police took the assailant to a local hospital, where Farrell said he will be temporarily detained for mental health evaluation.
And though he was the victim of the attack, police said the man dressed as the loveable children's character emerged unscathed.
"Elmo was unhurt," Farrell said.

Fear suspicion as US military en route to Costa Rica

The contract has drawn confusion about the intent of the ships more than anything else, stemming from a general distrust of US action in the region, likely based on recent events like the tacitly-approved military coup in Honduras (and news emerging last week of new plans for another military base there), as well as last year’s controversial accord to establish seven new military bases in Colombia.
The announcement has already provoked a fierce response in Costa Rica. The measure, which can be also renewed after December 31, has drawn sharp criticism from both lawmakers and civilians. Critics say that a massive foreign military landing at their shores not only directly violates that constitution as it stands today, but tears at the moral fabric of a nation which constitutionally abolished its own army in 1949.

With the MCSO so deep in the red that it cannot perform crucial functions, what are MCSO officers doing in Honduras of all places training the local gendarmes down there?
As incredible as it sounds, according to a radio show focused on Honduras' Bay Islands called The Roatan Bruce Show (Roatan being the capital of the Bay Islands, one of Honduras' 18 "departments"), Sheriff Joe's personal "Dick Cheney" Chief Deputy David Hendershott, MCSO Captain Jim Miller and other MCSO deputy dawgs have for the past year been advising the police in that part of the world.
This, while the MCSO has had to cut back in overtime expenditures, reduce visitation hours for prisoners (the Sheriff is still fighting a judge's order to reinstate them), threaten to close down the courts by not delivering defendants to their trials, neglect its duties in unincorporated areas such as Aguila, and on and on.
Take a look at the above pic from the online pub "Honduras This Week Travel," wherein Roatan Bruce recounts his interview with Hendershott and others from the MCSO. Check Hendershott's Panama hat and that Tommy Bahama shirt. The guy looks like a cross between Marlon Brando in The Island of Dr. Moreau, and the mad scientist Dr. Mephisto from South Park, known for genetically engineering a monkey with four asses.
Just thank Yahweh that Hendershott ain't wearin no Speedo.
Discussing the MCSO's helping hand in an October 27, 2007 article for the same publication, Roatan Bruce informs readers,
There was a time when crime was difficult to stop. It resulted in the federal government eventually sending in more and better qualified police. One of those police is National Police Commissario of The Bay Islands, Julio Benitez. Having two years experience, one as a sub Commissario and for the last year as Commissario, he has attracted the help of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, one of busiest and most respected Sheriff's Offices in the United States, which serves citizens in Phoenix, Arizona.
Busy? Maybe. Respected? Only if you're a third-world police force, boyo.
In the same article, Roatan Bruce notes,
Sheriff Joseph Arpaio sent down two teams of expert police in the last year to establish a sisterhood relationship between Honduras, Bay Island Police and their office. Captain Brian Beamish from Special Operations and Lieutenant Kevin Riddle from the Central Investigations Division were part of a second wave of police that spent a month in Honduras training policemen in Tegucigalpa before coming here.
Nutty. Wonder if the MCSO is showing the Hondurans the best way to use a restraint chair?
Captain Beamish tells Roatan Bruce that the MCSO's initial mission was to train 160 police officers in the islands off the coast of the Central American nation. And the MCSO's work there is still ongoing, according to Beamish.
"After two weeks," Captain Brian continued, "the students then receive the other instructor. At the end, there will be a large graduation. There is more training scheduled for the beginning of the year (2008) and it is going to continue for the next several years. The next group to come down will be on anti-corruption."
Are you kidding me? "Anti-corruption"? What, are they gonna show the Honduran po-po how to raise ducats from the sale of pink underwear?
One thing Hendershott can certainly advise them on is how to police a banana republic.
Jokes aside, I'll certainly be looking into this further next week, and making some public records requests to see who's paying for what. I know that last year, I asked for travel records on Hendershott, and the very few I got to view did not include any airplane flights or hotel stays in Honduras.
Has this been covered in the local media somewhere and I just missed it? Doing various searches online, I did note this proclamation by Governor Napolitano issued back in June for the "Bay Island Sister agency Project for Justice and Service Day," but on the face of it, the whole thing seems outrageous. Is the MCSO doing this on our dime? Plus, you've gotta wonder if this is Hendershott's fall plan if Buckeye Police Chief Dan Saban whips Arpaio's fanny in the general election later this year. You know, retire to sunny Honduras...
"I'm not opposed to helping other nations and countries," Saban told me when I asked him for a comment. "But at a time when the MCSO is under-staffed, under-resourced, and we've got 40,000 felons running loose in this county? Helping other nations should come way at the other end when we're fully staffed."
Well said, Chief. If the MCSO is as stretched financially as they claim, then they have some explaining to do...

The contract has drawn confusion about the intent of the ships more than anything else, stemming from a general distrust of US action in the region, likely based on recent events like the tacitly-approved military coup in Honduras (and news emerging last week of new plans for another military base there), as well as last year’s controversial accord to establish seven new military bases in Colombia.
The announcement has already provoked a fierce response in Costa Rica. The measure, which can be also renewed after December 31, has drawn sharp criticism from both lawmakers and civilians. With the MCSO so deep in the red that it cannot perform crucial functions, what are MCSO officers doing in Honduras of all places training the local gendarmes down there?
As incredible as it sounds, according to a radio show focused on Honduras' Bay Islands called The Roatan Bruce Show (Roatan being the capital of the Bay Islands, one of Honduras' 18 "departments"), Sheriff Joe's personal "Dick Cheney" Chief Deputy David Hendershott, MCSO Captain Jim Miller and other MCSO deputy dawgs have for the past year been advising the police in that part of the world.
This, while the MCSO has had to cut back in overtime expenditures, reduce visitation hours for prisoners (the Sheriff is still fighting a judge's order to reinstate them), threaten to close down the courts by not delivering defendants to their trials, neglect its duties in unincorporated areas such as Aguila, and on and on.
Take a look at the above pic from the online pub "Honduras This Week Travel," wherein Roatan Bruce recounts his interview with Hendershott and others from the MCSO. Check Hendershott's Panama hat and that Tommy Bahama shirt. The guy looks like a cross between Marlon Brando in The Island of Dr. Moreau, and the mad scientist Dr. Mephisto from South Park, known for genetically engineering a monkey with four asses.
Just thank Yahweh that Hendershott ain't wearin no Speedo.
Discussing the MCSO's helping hand in an October 27, 2007 article for the same publication, Roatan Bruce informs readers,
There was a time when crime was difficult to stop. It resulted in the federal government eventually sending in more and better qualified police. One of those police is National Police Commissario of The Bay Islands, Julio Benitez. Having two years experience, one as a sub Commissario and for the last year as Commissario, he has attracted the help of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, one of busiest and most respected Sheriff's Offices in the United States, which serves citizens in Phoenix, Arizona.
Busy? Maybe. Respected? Only if you're a third-world police force, boyo.
In the same article, Roatan Bruce notes,
Sheriff Joseph Arpaio sent down two teams of expert police in the last year to establish a sisterhood relationship between Honduras, Bay Island Police and their office. Captain Brian Beamish from Special Operations and Lieutenant Kevin Riddle from the Central Investigations Division were part of a second wave of police that spent a month in Honduras training policemen in Tegucigalpa before coming here.
Nutty. Wonder if the MCSO is showing the Hondurans the best way to use a restraint chair?
Captain Beamish tells Roatan Bruce that the MCSO's initial mission was to train 160 police officers in the islands off the coast of the Central American nation. And the MCSO's work there is still ongoing, according to Beamish.
"After two weeks," Captain Brian continued, "the students then receive the other instructor. At the end, there will be a large graduation. There is more training scheduled for the beginning of the year (2008) and it is going to continue for the next several years. The next group to come down will be on anti-corruption."
Are you kidding me? "Anti-corruption"? What, are they gonna show the Honduran po-po how to raise ducats from the sale of pink underwear?
One thing Hendershott can certainly advise them on is how to police a banana republic.
Jokes aside, I'll certainly be looking into this further next week, and making some public records requests to see who's paying for what. I know that last year, I asked for travel records on Hendershott, and the very few I got to view did not include any airplane flights or hotel stays in Honduras.
Has this been covered in the local media somewhere and I just missed it? Doing various searches online, I did note this proclamation by Governor Napolitano issued back in June for the "Bay Island Sister agency Project for Justice and Service Day," but on the face of it, the whole thing seems outrageous. Is the MCSO doing this on our dime? Plus, you've gotta wonder if this is Hendershott's fall plan if Buckeye Police Chief Dan Saban whips Arpaio's fanny in the general election later this year. You know, retire to sunny Honduras...
"I'm not opposed to helping other nations and countries," Saban told me when I asked him for a comment. "But at a time when the MCSO is under-staffed, under-resourced, and we've got 40,000 felons running loose in this county? Helping other nations should come way at the other end when we're fully staffed."
Well said, Chief. If the MCSO is as stretched financially as they claim, then they have some explaining to do...

I found the following and thought it needed sharing. How many 'REAL' people know anything about any of this stuff? When I worked at HOLOGIX our CFO was making all of the decisions for the employees. This was the first time ever that I had even thought about retirement and believe me after all the stress at this job (hostile takeover) when I walked out the door at night, I shut it all off.
All of the attention put on outsmarting this guy and that guy is all wrapped up in these white man's EGOs and these guys need to be stopped. The brainwashing needs to be stopped.
It is insane that this world is run by people that think they are smart but are missing out on the most important part of being human......... LOVE.

California officials filed a fraud suit against the former chief executive of CalPERS and his close friend, a former pension fund board member turned placement agent, in an explosive new twist in the influence-peddling scandal that's been simmering at CalPERS for months.
The lawsuit by Attorney General Jerry Brown says former CalPERS CEO Fred Buenrostro accepted thousands of dollars worth of gifts from Alfred Villalobos, a former CalPERS board member who has earned tens of millions of dollars as a placement agent. These agents are hired by private equity firms to obtain investments from public pension funds such as the California Public Employees' Retirement System.
Among other things, the suit says Villalobos "substantially subsidized" the cost of Buenrostro's 2004 wedding at Villalobos' Lake Tahoe mansion - an incident first reported by The Bee last fall. Buenrostro has said he reimbursed his host.
The suit demands the return of at least $70 million in commissions earned by Villalobos over the years from CalPERS investments.

FT Alphaville, a blog run by the Financial Times, is running a three part series on the dealings surrounding a hedge fund management company purchased by the Biden family in 2006. The upshot: no allegations directly linking Biden to corruption, but good dose of lobbying sleaze, nepotism, an opportunistic asbestos/mesothelioma law firm, indirect links to fraudulent financial entities and more conflicts of interest than you can shake a stick at.

Unlike most mutual and hedge funds, who mark-to-market based upon the closing price of their assets, holders of these CDOs get to indulge their "creative" side. Instead of writing the great American novel, they derive a model that optimistically prices these illiquid assets.

A COMPANY under investigation over the whereabouts of $118 million in funds channelled through the British Virgin Islands shared a Hong Kong address with a firm linked to one of Britain's biggest stockbroking scandals.
The address given for Astarra Asset Management's Hong Kong-based owner, Century Investments Holdings, matches the address given by Zetland Financial Services Group until late 2008.
Zetland and its chief executive, James Sutherland, were named in the British press as the Hong Kong-based owners of Pacific Continental Securities, a British broker that used high-pressure, ''boiler room'' tactics to sell risky and sometimes worthless US shares to British investors.

Still, for those not interested in being shielded, it should be headline news that a fund operated by Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, and his brother, James, had millions of dollars worth of dealings with Stanford Financial Group and another Stanford-controlled entity. In fact, Stanford entities provided the Bidens the seed money for their business and invested millions in and brought many clients (and their money) to the Bidens’ company.

An Australian Madoff? Trio Capital, an Australian fund manager, has been ordered to wind up its funds after being unable to account for $123 million in its Astarra fund since investigations began in October. The fund "has a total of $426 million under management - including superannuation savings of about 10,000 Australians." Some worry what this means for more potential frauds in Australia's "privatized social security."
The Syndey Morning Herald has more: the initial scrutiny, the whistleblower, the fears, hope fades.
John Hempton, blogger and hedge fund manager based in Australia, notified the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) in September. He outlined his story of delving into the problems in a January post, explaining to non-Australians how the Superannuation system (privatized Social Security) makes this fraud a significantly bigger story.
Dominck McCormick, the fund manager who initially tipped Hempton, has written a fantastic summary of what red flags existed, the role of due diligence, and how the financial planning industry can move forward.
Hempton has an eye for frauds. He previously tussled with hedge fund Ponta Negra, whose manager recently plead guilty to defrauding investors. Ponta Negra shared an office and marketer with Paradigm Global, a fund of hedge funds owned by the son and brother of U.S. Vice President Joe Biden. Hempton had found connections between Paradigm and other questionable funds. This included several connections to eccentric Allen Stanford's Stanford Financial Group, which remains frozen and under investigation for fraud. Hempton first investigated Astarra because of its connections to Paradigm.

The fund "has a total of $426 million under management - including superannuation savings of about 10,000 Australians." Some worry what this means for more potential frauds in Australia's "privatized social security."

John Hempton, blogger and hedge fund manager based in Australia, notified the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) in September. He outlined his story of delving into the problems in a January post, explaining to non-Australians how the Superannuation system (privatized Social Security) makes this fraud a significantly bigger story.
Dominck McCormick, the fund manager who initially tipped Hempton, has written a fantastic summary of what red flags existed, the role of due diligence, and how the financial planning industry can move forward.
Hempton has an eye for frauds. He previously tussled with hedge fund Ponta Negra, whose manager recently plead guilty to defrauding investors. Ponta Negra shared an office and marketer with Paradigm Global, a fund of hedge funds owned by the son and brother of U.S. Vice President Joe Biden. Hempton had found connections between Paradigm and other questionable funds. This included several connections to eccentric Allen Stanford's Stanford Financial Group, which remains frozen and under investigation for fraud. Hempton first investigated Astarra because of its connections to Paradigm.

Most will never try to be free thinking intellectuals.
For seeking the truth of anything is the only path to freedom.
For those that are too afraid of the psychological (work) learning curve necessary to achieve understanding of lifes difficulties and its evils.The result is total enslavement of your mind and very possibly the cost of your very life.
So you are about to learn that there is and always has been a deliberate control of humanities ability to discover certain truths.
You may wonder what a learning curve is.
A learning curve is like when you take a new college course or start a new job.. You enter into something you know nothing about. So the first step is to get a bit familiar with the topic. For many that first step is the beginning of the learning curve.
For very intelligent people the learning curve can be a straight line to the top. For slow learners the curve can be a very long curve to the top. As in everything the difficulty, is to get to the top. If you choose to.
But for many others they will drop out and never stay on the curve, instead their curve drops back to the bottom and they drop out or run away from the challenge of learning something new.
Sometimes, as in learning of the forbidden truths, most know nothing about the forbidden truths and do not even believe that there is such a thing as forbidden truths.

It should be understood that truth is an action, as truth is ever expanding. If one engages their whole in the action of pursueing truth, one becomes knowledgeable and that knowledge is the exercise that your mind needs to grow stronger and healthier.

Those that are knowledgeable can then know and discover the path to fulfill their life journey to happiness.

Halifax Nova Scotia's Connection to 911
(This is the untold true story of my meeting the Terrorists)

Ok first I will tell you about the widely publicized news stories that were reported on all the local corporate news media in Halifax Nova Scotia Canada on the east coast by the Atlantic ocean (Not far from New York City), on the day of 911 and the next day.
This story is very easily verifiable in Nova Scotia. One in three people clearly remember these news stories I am about to tell you about.
Please understand that I have and am risking my life to write this and publish it.
I am writing this now in hopes that maybe one day the good people of this world will rise for truth justice and liberty.
I hope that this information will be spread far and wide and that everyone takes this very seriously. I also hope that by my writing this, it will actually afford me some protection from those in authority that were involved.
But after the recent attempt on my life after a car was deliberately driven over me, where the local authorities were involved.
I have decided to write this out. You can read my article entitled "How to assassinate a cyclist" for the details of the attempt on my life that has left me severely and permanently injured and crippled.
Okay here goes.
On 911 it was reported on all local news outlets that the terrorists car was found at the Halifax international airport and that the car was filled with evidence. Such as flying information and a copy of the Koran.
This is the same story that was later told about a car being found at the Boston airport.
You will now read why the story was transferred from Halifax Nova Scotia to the Boston airport.
It was also reported that another group of terrorists that came from Halifax were also seen the night before partying at a strip joint in the Town of Yarmouth Nova Scotia, which is on Nova Scotias western most edge. Where the ferry runs from Yarmouth to Maine.
This story was big news on all media in Nova Scotia.
Unfortunately for the shadow government conspirators, this story was blown out of the water when the bar owner in Yarmouth told the whole world that the terrorists story was true but that the the untold truth was that these terrorists had actually missed embarking on the ferry at the correct time which would of given them the time to drive to Boston to get on the alleged hijacked plane.
Again this story is very easily verifiable. Everyone in Yarmouth knows this, any reporters that wish to go to Yarmouth can ask just about anyone. Everyone remembers this.
The local medias quickly suppressed this very televised story and never mentioned it again. Everyone in Nova Scotia can not understand why such a huge story was never again mentioned and why there has never been an explanation given to the public, as to why this story disappeared off the front pages or any other pages.
Will now you are about to find why.
This is going to be a very long story about organized crime, Hells Angels, the Freemasons, and about my father, step Father and their friend who were the real founders of Hells angels.
That makes me the son of Hells Angels...but I have chosen to be A Truth Soldier for God is the Truth.
My Father originally known as Paul Arthur Towsey Senior who long ago escaped to Australia and changed his name to Arthur Paul Towsey (was in the Air Force, a child abuser, tyrant and very evil)
Marty Goodman was a life long pedophile, he once abused my daughter. I have not seen him since.
These three all worked for Encyclopedia Brittanica that I believe was a cover for crooks to launder their money and use as a cover to justify their illicit incomes..
My Jewish step father Solly (Sonny) Viner who still lives in Dartmouth and is still alive. (ran owned and operated numerous (across Canada) hells angels club houses, nightclubs, gaming houses and I believe still does)
These three went to Las Vegas on their motorcycles back in the forties and then after travelled through the USA and Canada and set up the Hells Angles organization..Yes it originated from the Jewish mafia in Las Vegas.
Solly back in approximately 1971 was all over international news for having paid an American company to rig a professional television media video camera with a hidden laser that was then step up at the Kentucky derby.
This camera was to be used to send invisible lasers at the target horse causing it to loose its stride. Solly and his conspirators had bet and invested what today would be over 25 million dollars. The conspirators bought tickets on the long shots..They would of made millions.
But the FBI was tipped off by the manufacturer and the FBI were very intrigued about this weapon and what it would be used for. The FBI was also curious because they wondered why a Canadian from Toronto would want to buy a weapon that they could not bring over the border to Canada.
So the FBI followed the trail and waited until this device was set up at the races.
They arrested Solly Viner and he got nine years in Rochester penitentiary. I was ten years old then and remember this story being all over the news. The police ransacking our home.
The neighbours all knew..we were all now outcasts.
One day government spooks came to our house and asked me and my brothers to write sobby letters to our step father saying that we miss you, we love you and we need you.
None of us wanted to write these letters so the spooks wrote them themselves and these letters were used to get a judge to release Solly after two years. The judge said you have a family in Canada that needs you.. He was ordered never to reenter the USA.
I then told Solly I did not want to live with him and moved into Clifton House for Boys near Riverdale Park in Toronto.
There upon Solly was ordered by the mafioso to move to Dartmouth Nova Scotia, the birthplace of the Freemassons that erected what I believe was the first Masonic Hall in North America in 1785. I believe that Solly is probably the head of the Masons here.
I eventually moved to Dartmouth as my three brothers, and my mother lived here.
The town I now live in is called Dartmouth, it is a ten minute ride across the bridge that spans the halifax harbour to Halifax.
The locals have a very accurate name for this town, it is called "The Darkside" or "Darkness"
Okay now I will get into the 911 terrorists and how I met them in their homes.
Please also note that I never condoned or participated in the Hells Angels organization. But I have been an insider privy to allot of knowledge as to its organization and how the minds of the criminally insane works.
I have been in many Toronto gaming houses they called bridge clubs and some Hells Angels houses. When I was in my teens in Toronto I worked as a cook and cleaner in some bridge Clubs until one was busted by the cops and I had enough. The cops black listed me and terrorized ever since.

C.S.I.S Canadas secret police and all other authorities have terrorized me and have been on a mission to destroy my life.. They have engaged in numerous very serious covert criminal acts against me.

Will back in 2000 I started a new business here in Dartmouth named "Silverspoon Trading" It was a used goods business, where I restored used appliances, bicycles, lawnmowers and alot more.
I also (exported) sold used goods to the ships crew from Cuba. I would bring a cubevan load of goods to the ship The Mariel" That came to an unprotected dock in the Halifax harbour every two weeks.
I later discovered that this was a government organized crime ship that would bring a huge shipment of illegal drugs into halifax after having diverted to Mexico every second trip to pick up the load.
I reported this to the authorities and soon realized they knew and allowed it to happen. I then had my life threatened and I stopped selling to the Cubans.

But that was long before I opened my business there.
The Lebanese property owner operated his variety store above my store..His store was facing the other (backside) of my business and it was on the street up above behind my business. My business was on the other side on a road with a lower elevation.
So I spent a lot of time speaking with this guy called Nabil. We spent many hours talking about government corruption and many other issues.

So that he and especially his friends. In particular a very agressive guy named Sid, who always appeared to be under extraordinary pressure , believed that I was connected and could be trusted as they knew who my step father was. The mafioso boss.
Until one day. Sid said to me that I could come over to three different houses that he had where I could buy anything in the homes for very cheap.
He told me something very odd. He told me that the families were going back home to some Arab country and that the husbands were not going with them.

So Sid drove me to two different homes in a well off Bedford Neighbourhood and to another tall apartment building in Halifax.

I looked around to see if there was anything I was interested in buying, I then saw and asked about a very unusual satellite receiver on top of the television. The receiver appeared to connected to a computer. This was not something from Canada as it was all arabic.
Sid got really nervous at my looking at and touching this specialized satellite device. It appeared to be for a private network.
Sid got very protective of it and he moved me away from it.
Sid never took me through the house. He never showed me anything that I could buy.
He then took me to another house where again he never told me of anything I could buy.
I thought this so strange. He was not offering me anything to buy and I wondered why was he wasting my time.
Then he took me to Halifax later in the evening and the same thing happened. He did not offer me anything I could buy.
I said hey I would be interested in buying that television..He said I could not buy it right now. So I said when would I be able to come back to get it. Sid did not answer me.
By now I thought that this whole thing appears to be a set up of some kind and that I was somehow being implicated in something. But knew not what.
Sids aggressiveness was actually very intimidating, he was very scary.. and I do not scare easy as I have met many very dangerous people in my life.
So I really wondered what made him so...I then realized that this guy was never to be trusted and that he was very evil.
So I returned home with nothing and thought what a waste of time and gas..
The next day. Sept 10, 2001. I had a conversation with Sid.
He was so absolutely tense it was scary. Well he brought up some political discussion about the USA and said the most strangest thing.
He said that very soon something really big was going to happen in the USA and that it would be like or could start a third world war. He said that the US was going to be attacked.
Now I really had enough and was completely scared of this guy. I walked away and never told anyone what he said because I did not know what he was talking about.
Later that day Nabil told me something about how Arab suicide terrorists were recruited. He told me that a man would be approached or choosen..told that he would be put up in a nice home in Canada with his family for up to ten years. And that all costs would be covered.
That the terrorist would not be told what and when his mission would be. The suicide terrorist was told that he had no choice and that if he refused, him, his family and relatives would all be killed.
I was shocked at learning this and wondered why he was telling me this. Nabil was a good guy. It seemed to me that he wanted me to know sometime and I did not know why.

I then lost my moving business. The police were also responsible for me losing my Cube-van that was in a repair shop. They told the mechanic to not return it to me so I could not make any money to pay off the fines the police gave me for no insurance. Even thought I actually had a paid insurance for the whole year. And a clean driving record.
The mechanic kept my $30,000 heavy duty Ford Cube Van for a bill of about $3000 for replacing the rear axle.
I had to move down the street to a smaller home. Where the upstairs and downstairs tenants mysteriously moved out and then my home was invaded by youth gangs, pimps, drug dealers. And more .
There was over fifty people that I had never met before. All my doors and windows had been broken into. These people stayed day and night. Ate all my food and would not leave.
But I being a photographer.. Decided to tell them that I love taking pictures and they went along. So I was able to get the names they gave me and match them up with the pictures.
I was now broke and had no income. I was afraid to leave my home. I had no food and could never get any sleep.
I was threatened when I asked them to leave. Many of the young people knew nothing about the set up. I think they were just told I was cool and they could hang out at my place.
But the adults that came in were very dangerous.
So I tried to be friend them and tried to understand the situation I was in.

I found that strange and when I asked the detective how he knew who was in my house and why he had these pictures. He took off..
One night black guys were breaking in. I had taken the opportunity to barricade my front door. When the gang had left. So they tried to kick the back door in, but I was blocking it.
I had turned off all the lights, it was night time, I realized that would give me the advantage as I knew my way around in the dark.
These black guys then pried the back window and were half way in. I stood there in the dark. They did not know for sure that I was in the house.
I scared the hell out of the black guy. I was inches from him in the dark. He had not seen or heard me. I told him I had an axe in my hand and that he had better get back out or I would hurt him with it.
He got so scared and climbed back out. The other black guy and him just about fell off the narrow roof they were standing on.
I then went back into my office and jammed my large mechanics toolchest against the door.
The black guys were outside and banging really loud on the house.The house was shaking. I was completely terrorized.
I then called 911 and was frantic. I broke down and cried.
The police never came.
The next day two teen aged girls, The black girl that really hated me and I did not know why and a white girl named Jenn.
Jenn and I got along will.. She knew I was a good guy.
Then the black girl would not give me my digital cell phone. Then she opened the door and let these guys in that had masks on. The leader immediately asked for my cell phone which the black girl took out of her pocket and handed over, he then broke the phone.
There was six of them and with precision each one spread out to every room and secured the scene.
The leader told me that they were here to kill me. He told me not to try to resist as they had a gun.
He lost his mask and I saw his face. He then approached me and pushed my right shoulder back. Spun me around, pulled me back while he had his arm locked around my neck and put his knee into my back.
He was choking me to death. I was not breathing. (NOTE This caused a permanent injury to my throat)
They brought the two girls out to witness the execution and Jenn screamed out to the guy to stop as she realized he was killing me.
He calmly asked her if she was sure ..and she said yes and he let go. Everything was very calm.
The guy told me to sit down. He looked around and told the other guys to grab some stuff. And they argued that they did not need anything. The leader got mad , they grabbed my large television and left. They wanted it to look like a robbery.
I was so scared as I knew I could not call the police as they told me not to call them and that they the police were the ones that had sent all these thugs to my home.
The police threatened that they would put me in jail if I called 911 again.
So now my home was a mess. I was totally devastated.
I then left my house. I rode my bicycle away.
I called my ex-wife and told her some of what was going on... Anyway I told the hospital I was suicidal, which was not true. I was just beaten and I felt so endangered.
I needed a place to be to be safe.. So I got my self admitted to the Nova Scotia Psychiatric hospital for my protection.
That night the whole ward was emptied and there was this very nasty woman behind the counter at a distance from me. Screaming at me that "We do not want you here!"
I was so burned out, exhausted from no sleep or food. I had no will to even respond. I just walked away.

I spent the next three months in there while the police stole my car and trailer out of my driveway. Some friends tried to retrieve a few of my belongings.. But I lost most of my things.

Ok first I will tell you about the widely publicized news stories that were reported on all the local corporate news media in Halifax Nova Scotia Canada on the east coast by the Atlantic ocean (Not far from New York City), on the day of 911 and the next day.
This story is very easily verifiable in Nova Scotia. One in three people clearly remember these news stories I am about to tell you about.
Please understand that I have and am risking my life to write this and publish it.
I am writing this now in hopes that maybe one day the good people of this world will rise for truth justice and liberty.

But after the recent attempt on my life after a car was deliberately driven over me, where the local authorities were involved.

On 911 it was reported on all local news outlets that the terrorists car was found at the Halifax international airport and that the car was filled with evidence. Such as flying information and a copy of the Koran.
This is the same story that was later told about a car being found at the Boston airport.
You will now read why the story was transferred from Halifax Nova Scotia to the Boston airport.
It was also reported that another group of terrorists that came from Halifax were also seen the night before partying at a strip joint in the Town of Yarmouth Nova Scotia, which is on Nova Scotias western most edge. Where the ferry runs from Yarmouth to Maine.
This story was big news on all media in Nova Scotia.
Unfortunately for the shadow government conspirators, this story was blown out of the water when the bar owner in Yarmouth told the whole world that the terrorists story was true but that the the untold truth was that these terrorists had actually missed embarking on the ferry at the correct time which would of given them the time to drive to Boston to get on the alleged hijacked plane.
Again this story is very easily verifiable. Everyone in Yarmouth knows this, any reporters that wish to go to Yarmouth can ask just about anyone. Everyone remembers this.
The local medias quickly suppressed this very televised story and never mentioned it again. Everyone in Nova Scotia can not understand why such a huge story was never again mentioned and why there has never been an explanation given to the public, as to why this story disappeared off the front pages or any other pages.

Solly back in approximately 1971 was all over international news for having paid an American company to rig a professional television media video camera with a hidden laser that was then step up at the Kentucky derby.
This camera was to be used to send invisible lasers at the target horse causing it to loose its stride. Solly and his conspirators had bet and invested what today would be over 25 million dollars. The conspirators bought tickets on the long shots..They would of made millions.
But the FBI was tipped off by the manufacturer and the FBI were very intrigued about this weapon and what it would be used for. The FBI was also curious because they wondered why a Canadian from Toronto would want to buy a weapon that they could not bring over the border to Canada.
So the FBI followed the trail and waited until this device was set up at the races.
They arrested Solly Viner and he got nine years in Rochester penitentiary. I was ten years old then and remember this story being all over the news. The police ransacking our home.
The neighbours all knew..we were all now outcasts.
One day government spooks came to our house and asked me and my brothers to write sobby letters to our step father saying that we miss you, we love you and we need you.
None of us wanted to write these letters so the spooks wrote them themselves and these letters were used to get a judge to release Solly after two years. The judge said you have a family in Canada that needs you.. He was ordered never to reenter the USA.
I then told Solly I did not want to live with him and moved into Clifton House for Boys near Riverdale Park in Toronto.
There upon Solly was ordered by the mafioso to move to Dartmouth Nova Scotia, the birthplace of the Freemassons that erected what I believe was the first Masonic Hall in North America in 1785. I believe that Solly is probably the head of the Masons here.
I eventually moved to Dartmouth as my three brothers, and my mother lived here.
The town I now live in is called Dartmouth, it is a ten minute ride across the bridge that spans the halifax harbour to Halifax.
The locals have a very accurate name for this town, it is called "The Darkside" or "Darkness"

I had replaced my cell phone earlier that day and made a phone call to the FBI number in New York City for anyone with information about 911. I told the FBI agent about my meeting the terrorists.
I spent the next three months in there while the police stole my car and trailer out of my driveway. Some friends tried to retrieve a few of my belongings.. But I lost most of my things.
I later moved into a group home where I lived for the next five years. Where I stayed on my computer and continued researching to get an understanding of what is going on in this world and why.
For those of you who have read some of my previous articles. Read my first article (Corrupt Canadian Elections) about my working on an election campaign in 1984 in Toronto, where my friend lawyer Michael Cohen was running against the then very corrupt Solicitor General of Canada. Who created CSIS(Six months into the campaign), Canadas secret police and issued a contract on my life.
Bob Caplan angrily screamed at me that "We are going to destroy you, we are going to make you so destitute, that you'll have to resort to crime to survive, and when you do we will put you in jail where we will have our fun with you"
During the campaign I took care of our campaign signs. I went out at night when there was less traffic. Then one night a Police Officer in North York came over and told me he had a Message for me. He was told to tell me that "Bob Caplan had issued a contract on me."
Since then, They have systematically destroyed my life and I have been terrorized by CSIS covert agents..They have engaged in psychological warfare on me.
They have laughed at me and said that "We can do anything we want to you because you can not tell anyone, for they wont believe you and there is nothing they can do, not only that. If you try to tell anyone we will just label you as delusional or paranoid and lock you up" then they walked away just laughing.
Will I have never given up on the concepts of
TRUTH JUSTICE AND LIBERTY FOR ALL

There has been numerous very serious events in my life as a result of their out of control activities. I hope one day that all good people will realize that no republic or democracy can function if their governments are allowed to operate behind veils of secrecy..
I hope that one day everyone will realize that the single most dangerous thing to any free society is secret societies, secrecy is only to hide their evil and wrong doings.
All secret societies and its members should be vilified and criminalized..and then these criminally insane should be put into a very comfortable straight jacket and then escorted to a place with very melodic music playing..
Now I sit imprisoned in my home.. I am physically destroyed, I am unable to get any justice, I am being denied any medical help.
I have a broken back with numerous fractured or damaged disks. It is amazing that I am alive.
I am not being permitted see any doctors that could put some pins in to secure my spine.
The shadow government is interfering in everything in my life and all those that work for the government care not or just follow directions.
The days of a society guided by truth justice and liberty no longer exist..we now have those that speak no truth and seek no truth in full control..
"If the future of humanity is not guided by truth
Then we are all doomed..
That is where we are now for no one in my society is offering any kind of help or justice to me.
The spooks have absolutely convinced everyone that I am nuts and everyone just chooses to blindly trust those that they perceive to be in charge.. The common people seems to believe that there are those in the government that know everything.
Wake up people..those in charge are just ordinary people who are completely corrupted with their out of control power.
The good people need to get involved and start caring about truth.

NOTE; I clearly understand why they tried to implicate Canada in 911. It was to justify the passing of the previously written anti terrorism laws that were guaranteed to take away the peoples freedoms and liberties.
Another thing...There never were any terrorists on any aircraft.. The whole thing was staged... There were no commercial aircrafts that hit the WTC or the Pentagon...
